Laura Brock

Laura is a founding partner of Brock McClure Consultants. With over 20 years in the planning industry, Laura has wide ranging experience in the planning and development process.
Prior to working in a Town Planning Consultancy, Laura worked as a surveyor and brings a particular commercial awareness to all projects she is involved in.
Laura is a Corporate Member of the Irish Planning Institute and Royal Town Planning Institute.
Suzanne McClure

Suzanne is a founding partner of Brock McClure Consultants. With over 20 years planning experience in both the public and private sector, Suzanne has worked on a wide range of projects spanning across both statutory and strategic planning fields.
Suzanne began her career in Local Government before moving to a Town Planning Consultancy in 2003. Suzanne’s varied background allows her to bring commercial acumen and practical advice to all facets of the planning and development process.
Suzanne is a Corporate Member of the Irish Planning Institute and Royal Town Planning Institute.
Linda McEllin

Linda is an Associate Director with Brock McClure and has been a core part of the team since the establishment of the company in 2012. With over 18 years’ experience in the private planning sector, Linda has significant exposure to all aspects of the business. Linda has led the way for the company in mentoring our staff base, setting high standards, delivering innovative approaches to planning and ensuring the delivery of a quality and bespoke service to our clients.
Linda has an extensive track record and has been influential in her career to date on projects of scale, solidifying her reputation as a leading professional in the field. Linda’s comprehensive knowledge of the planning system aligned with her understanding of client requirements enables her to deliver a balanced and practical approach to all aspects of her work. Linda is based in the company’s Mayo Office as the regional lead and has nationwide experience.
Linda has recently received recognition from the Royal Town Planning Institute’s Planner Magazine as a ‘Woman of Influence’ for 2024. This is a testament to Linda’s role within Brock McClure and her influential contribution to the planning industry in Ireland.
Linda is a Fellow Member of the IPI.
Kathy McNally

Kathy is a Senior Planner and works remotely from the West of Ireland since joining Brock McClure in April 2021. She qualified with a BSc in Environmental Spatial Planning from Dublin Institute of Technology in 2004. Since then, she has gained extensive experience in all aspects of the planning sector to include Large Scale Residential, Retail, Commercial, Renewable Energy Developments and Industrial Projects.
Since joining Brock McClure, she has successfully coordinated and prepared planning applications for a variety projects, from small housing developments and large residential estates including Strategic Housing Developments, to industrial and commercial developments. She also has experience in the preparation of planning policy submissions, planning compliance, site appraisals and assessments, Section 5 Declarations, first and third-party appeals, as well as Environmental Impact Assessment Reports. Kathy works closely with clients and project design teams in order to meet the specific needs of any project, to effectively progress projects and strive for a successful outcome.
Kathy is a Corporate Member of the Irish Planning Institute.
Evan Walsh

Evan joined Brock McClure in February 2021, following the completion of a Master’s Degree in Regional and Urban Planning at UCD in 2020. Prior to this Evan completed an Undergraduate Degree in Geography, Planning and Environmental Policy, graduating from UCD in 2019.
Evan has worked on a wide variety of residential and commercial projects and has experience managing, co-ordinating and preparing full planning application packs, environmental impact assessment documents, planning appraisals and planning appeals for schemes of a variety of scales.
Evan is a Licentiate member of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) and a Graduate member of the Irish Planning Institute (IPI).
Vitalija Janusonyte

Vitalija joined Brock McClure in February 2021 as a Planning Intern while finishing her undergraduate studies in BSc. City Planning and Environmental Policy in UCD, during which she worked on a variety of large- and small-scale residential and commercial developments, planning appeals and development appraisals. Having completed a Master’s degree in Regional and Urban Planning (MRUP) in UCD, Vitalija progressed to a Graduate Planner, an Executive Planner and most recently was promoted to a Senior Executive Planner in April 2024.
Vitalija has a particular interest in Masterplans and Large Scale Residential Developments (LRDs) that can help to provide principles of a ‘15-minute city’.
Vitalija is a Graduate Member of the Irish Planning Institute and a Licentiate Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute.
Sinead Bowen-Crowe

Sinead joined the team in 2022. Prior to this, she worked in private consultancy where she worked on a number of high profile developments around the city.
Sinead has experience in a broad spectrum of planning consultancy services, from feasibility studies on development sites, to planning applications and appeals to An Bord Pleanála, and submissions to Planning Authorities on behalf of clients. Sinead has a keen interest in urban design and residential development. She is a proficient project manager, critical thinker and problem solver.
Sinead has a Masters Degree in Planning Policy and Practice from UCD and a Degree in Property Economics from TUD.
Lhana McMonagle

Lhana joined Brock McClure Planning Consultants in 2021 and is in the position of graduate planner. She completed her Masters in Regional and Urban Planning, after obtaining an undergraduate degree in Planning, Geography and Environmental Policy in University College Dublin.
Lhana has gained a range of experience through her time in the company, particularly in relation to the preparation and lodgement of planning applications from small to large scale residential developments, Development Plan and re-zoning submissions, planning compliance and planning appeals. The projects span a range of sectors including office/commercial, public house/restaurant and nursing home developments.
Lhana is a Graduate Member of the Irish Planning Institute and a Licentiate Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute.
Katarina Kanevova

Liam joined Brock McClure in July 2024 and is in the position of Assistant Planner. He obtained his Masters in Planning and Sustainable Development (MPlan) from University College Cork in 2023 and after completing his Bachelor of Arts prior to this.
Liam gained experience working in Cork throughout his Masters before joining the private sector. Here, he specialised in retail and residential developments but was exposed to a variety of work including but not limited to small residential developments, commercial developments and compulsory purchase orders.
Liam is a Graduate Member of the Irish Planning Institute.
Liam Devaney

Katarina joined the team in 2022. She has returned to planning after couple of years dedicated to her family.
She completed her Master’s Degree in Spatial Planning at Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava, Slovakia in 2010. During her studies she spent a year at Newcastle University, UK where she got a minor working experience in public sector. Following her studies she worked in forward planning, specialised on land-use planning projects in Slovakia.
Her main focus after moving to Ireland is on residential development, however, Katarina is always open to new challenges.
Katarina is a Corporate Member of the Irish Planning Institute.
Patrick Leavy

Patrick joined Brock McClure in May 2023 as a Planning Intern just after finishing his undergraduate studies in BSc. City Planning and Environmental Policy in UCD. Over the course of the internship, Patrick worked on a variety of commercial, retail and residential developments, planning compliances, and development appraisals. Having completed a Master’s degree in Urban Design and Planning in UCD, Patrick joined the company fulltime as a Graduate Planner in September 2024.
Patrick is particularly interested in large-scale commercial and residential developments, and has experience working on logistic park and retirement village developments.
Patrick is a Student Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI).
Fia Ni Riain

Fia Ní Riain is an Intern Planner at Brock McClure, currently advancing her expertise through the Master’s in Regional and Urban Planning at University College Dublin. With a strong academic foundation and a keen interest in sustainable development and urban regeneration, Fia brings a fresh perspective and analytical approach to the team.
Her studies at UCD have equipped her with a comprehensive understanding of Irish planning policy, spatial planning, and development frameworks. At Brock McClure, she supports a range of planning projects, assisting in research, development assessments, and the preparation of planning applications.
Passionate about shaping vibrant and sustainable communities, Fia is committed to gaining hands-on experience in the planning process while contributing to innovative and practical solutions for clients.
