Suzanne is a founding partner of Brock McClure Consultants. With over 15 years planning experience in both the public and private sector, Suzanne has worked on a wide range of projects spanning across both statutory and strategic planning fields.
Suzanne began her career in Local Government before moving to a Town Planning Consultancy in 2003. Suzanne’s varied background allows her to bring commercial acumen and practical advice to all facets of the planning and development process.
Suzanne is a Corporate Member of the Irish Planning Institute and Royal Town Planning Institute.
Laura is a founding partner of Brock McClure Consultants. With over 15 years planning experience Laura has wide ranging experience in the planning and development process.
Prior to working in a Town Planning Consultancy Laura worked as a Surveyor and brings a particular commercial awareness to all projects she is involved in.
Laura is a Corporate Member of the Irish Planning Institute and Royal Town Planning Institute.
Linda graduated from NUIG in 2005 with a BA Degree in Geography and Psychological Studies. Following on from this, Linda graduated from UCD in 2007 having completed her Master’s Degree in Regional and Urban Planning.
Linda has over 12 years’ experience in the private planning consultancy business and is a corporate member of the Irish Planning Institute. Linda has been a core part of the team at Brock McClure since the establishment of the company in 2012 and has significant experience in all aspects of the business. Linda specialises in the area of residential development and brings to the team a particular flair for the preparation and project management of large scale Strategic Housing Development Planning Applications, Environmental Impact Assessment, Development Potential Reports and Planning Appeals.
Linda operates from our offices based in the West of Ireland at Castlebar, Co. Mayo and has particular expertise in dealing with the Local Authorities of Mayo, Sligo, Galway City and Galway County together with other regional authorities.
Linda and the wider team at Brock McClure have been recognised for the quality and standard of the professional service offered by the company by way of a Mayo Business Award in 2017.
Caitlin relocated to Dublin in 2018 having previously qualified and practised as a planner for a number of years in New Zealand. She holds a Bachelor of Resource and Environmental Planning (Honours) from Massey University in New Zealand, which she graduated within 2015.
Caitlin has experience working in the private planning consultancy business and the public sector, with several years’ experience in local government. Her extensive knowledge of local government is advantageous in navigating planning processes.
Caitlin has worked in development management and forward planning and is particularly experienced in project and stakeholder management.
Katie has recently completed a Masters in Regional and Urban Planning (MRUP) at University College Dublin, receiving first-class honours. She completed her thesis on the current Strategic Housing Development Process by carrying out a review of the process to date. She also holds a BA in History and Sociology from University College Dublin.
Katie has worked part-time with Brock McClure while completing her masters and recently joined the team full time. Katie has been working closely with senior staff members in the preparation of residential and commercial planning applications, planning reports and appeals.
Katie is currently a student member of the Irish Planning Institute and the Royal Town Planning Institute.
Matthew joined Brock McClure Planning Consultants in September 2015 having previously worked for a number of years both in Ireland and abroad. Matthew qualified with a Masters of Regional and Urban Planning in 2006 and since then has gained significant experience having worked in the private planning sector in Australia and in a Land Use and Transport Planning consultancy role here in Ireland. Matthew is a Corporate Member of the Irish Planning Institute.
Matthew has specific technical skills in the planning application and appeals process including Strategic Housing Development, preparation and contribution to environmental impact assessments, development plan and other statutory plan preparation, planning documents and policy review, urban master planning, and the preparation of transportation and land use studies such as strategic transport master plans. Matthew also has extensive experience in the preparation of development appraisals, vacant site levy submissions, planning compliance and Section 5 declarations.
Matthew’s experience spans a broad range of project types including residential, mixed-use, industrial and commercial developments. He has worked extensively with a number of private and public sector clients to reach their planning and development goals ranging from detailed planning advice for a minor change of use applications to large scale mixed-use developments. Many of Matthew’s previous projects involved a variety of client management, statutory authority negotiation and community engagement as well as comprehensive review and analysis of technical information and the provision of strategic planning advice.
Teresa joined Brock McClure Planning Consultants in 2017 to oversee the finance and business administration functions of the company. She is highly skilled in business administration having gained extensive experience at Phillips, Clonskeagh.
Teresa manages the company‘s financial, monitoring and reporting systems and is the first point of contact for our clients and suppliers on matters relating to our financial transactions. She also acts in both a HR and Admin role to our team of planners. Teresa works closely with the directors to ensure the company’s quality of service is continued outside its core consultancy service.
